Hey guys I’m new at SOD and just hit 60 on my Warrior. I noticed I can buy the Valor warrior set with seals, for example, the wrists are 15 seals. Or I could buy the Molten Core wrist token also for 15 seals (in some cases the molten core tier tokens are even cheaper than Valor)? Can I just buy the Molten Core gear and skip Valor or am I missing something here? Thanks!
You can buy the molten core gear and skip valor. Hell, you can even just buy 4 pieces of T2 and skip some of the molten core gear too.
It’s catch up so new players can get to AQ faster.
You buy a token and you hand it in at either MC or BWL depending on which token it is; the vendor for them is usually at the entrance inside the dungeon.

Thanks that is exactly what I wanted to know! Blizz should really just reduce the Valor prices then because it’s a bit confusing
Go for the t1 and t2 pieces from the vendor don’t worry about the valor set at all now
Yes blizzard added it recently for new players to easier catch-up, Valor (t0) prices are old and not updated so it’s not worth it. You can buy all molten core pieces and 4/8 BWL pieces.
They should probably just remove the tier0 set from vendor at this point or make it cost just gold. Otherwise it doesnt serve any purpose but to confuse new players.
Should probably have separate vendors too
