Soo yeah, ring ilvl good and all, and if I actually had the gems it’d be fine but seems we can only get a few of the citrines of all possibilities, rendering it very bad?
What am I missing, are the gems time gated as well?
I’ve done the bonus objectives and a rare, and I got all three slots filled
All 3 slots filled is not biggy but not all gems are good. None of the ones I want want I got, meaning the ring is garbage. And I cant seem to get the others.
I assume there will be more gems with each weekly reset.

Well, based on the first message it sounded like you hadn’t gotten 3 citrines in the first place, so there’s that.
And bad or not, they’re probably still better than having nothing.
All the gems I need aren’t available. So I’m presuming it’s timegated.
Wait 6 weeks to start the expedition to the isle and nothing will be timegated. xD
It was stated in a blue post some time ago that the gems will be weekly time gated. We can only get 4 this week. Wowheads has also confirmed they cannot datamined where the others will come from but it appears it will be with the weekly cache for completing activities.

They buffed the ilvl to make it valid to use but they didnt make sure we could get all the gems so its still useless untill we get it… Lovely.
Pretty much. Like I said in another post this low effort and time gate hogwash is something I cannot see Blizzard getting away with for very much longer.
this ring purely ruined PvP even with the nerf, the stats alone are BiS
so GG to those that wanted to pvp end season
and GG to anyone that crafted double rings
