How to get all Recruit a friend rewards in 1/4 th the time !

Yes there is away ! , confirmed by a GM , here is the answer i got after 3 days of waiting :

Definitely you’re linked to both your wow accounts currently you can see your active links in the In game recruit a friend user interface. :slight_smile:

Both the links are active now and you can add game time to either of those accounts. Even if you add a year of game time to the accounts now, the rewards only unlock at the speed of 1 reward per month per player you recruited. So if you add 6 months to both accounts you recruited, you get 2 reward months per real time month. :slight_smile:

I hope that clarifies the situation and speed of reward acquisition in WOW. :slight_smile:

And based on this , if you don’t wanna wait 1 full year to get all rewards there is only one way for you and that is wait 3 months in max since you can only recruit 4 people only sadly :

  1. Create 4 Dummy accounts ( just make sure you write down email and password so that you do not forget each ).
  2. On each of these accounts create a toon on the same server your main is.
  3. Log to main account , generate the RECRUIT-a-FRIEND link.
  4. Use the Link on all 4 dummy accounts.
  5. To make sure you are “LINKED” let all 5 characters add each other to friends , on each of the dummy accounts characters you will see you main with the RECRUITER before his name and from your main account you will see the 4 dummy accounts as RECRUIT ( should be written in BOLD before the names ).
  6. Now you are LINKED , each dummy account is linked to your MAIN account.
  7. Buy 4 X ( 3 months sub service ) on each of the dummy account

4X3 = 12 months , 4 accounts each month you will get 4 rewards , so you need 1/4 of a year ( 3months worth of game time ) to get all 12 months rewards

That’s it , if the link had no limit ( instead of just 4 ) you would have bee able to create 12 dummy accounts and link them to your main , by 1 month each and receive all reward at one go , but Blizz wants to Guarantees YOUR sub money on YOUR main account here.

doesn’t this require you to but lots of accounts for months ?
so, in essence, all youre doing is buying lots of accounts so as to get a few pixels earlier than other people.
Kinda pathetic, no?

Pretty much. Its not hard to sell stuff like this to some people. :man_facepalming:

He’s potentially going to pay £‭112.68‬ (or the equivalent in other currencies) across 4 accounts to get a few goodies which he will most probably get bored of super fast.

That’s not really correct. He’s paying this amount, yes. BUT he gets 4 months sub on the main account so you can take off 33% of the price since he’s getting it back in months on his main. So that’s a rounded 74 pounds. I use euros so I will change that 74 pounds to 85 euros.
1 pet = 10 euros
2 mount = 50 euros

That leaves 25 euros spent on getting a tabard, a title and 3 transmog rewards.
I believe back in the day the helmet transmogs were 12 euros a piece and the explorer’s attire includes at least a hat, chestpiece, pants, boots, gloves and a belt. On top of that you get a backpack transmog which is quite neat and a lame sword with the unfortunate effect of getting sand in your clothes all day.

What I am trying to say is that in comparison to what blizzard asks for all these things seperately that this reward yield for subbing a second account which you can then use for the entire span of the time is very much worth it.

Heck people can activate the sub on the account then keep it running with game tokens and only have to spend the initial sub money on it.

Each to their own but “theres one born every minute” comes to mind.

I don’t know why Blizz don’t just make a toy that hangs you upside down and shakes the money out of your pockets.
