How to get authenticator 4 bag slots?

Hello,

I’m trying to get the 4 bag slots unlocked. I have successfully added an authenticator and that’s working. I understand I need to set up SMS Protect too. My phone number is already on my battlenet account. When I use the SMS protect set up page it says:

Security verification expired, please start over.

Not sure what to do.

I did previously have the bag slots unlocked, but I removed the authenticator from my account. Not sure if that has anythig to do with it.

So do you not have a phone attached right now or is it not verified?

Edit: Anyway I don’t think it matters, try adding/updating the phone number again see if it works.

A minor caveat though

  • Mobile phones with prepaid plans may not work with the phone notification service.

removing it and adding again worked. got the extra bag slots now. thank you.

Also it may require a refresh of the Account from the server side, this can be done by simply Resetting your Account Password.
