This is for alts who only do a weekly key and maybe lfr for the vault who need to use the creation catalyst.
The past two weeks i have used one-time treasures so their out of the question so whats the next best way to get flux

How to Farm Cosmic Flux in Patch 9.2
Cosmic Flux comes from participating in Shadowlands Season 3 and Patch 9.2 content. You can farm it from the following sources:
- Completing daily and world quests in Zereth Mortis.
- Completing the Zereth Mortis quest Patterns Within Patterns every week.
- Opening treasures in Zereth Mortis.
- Defeating Rare Elites in Zereth Mortis.
- Participating in Rated PvP.
- Clearing Mythic+ Dungeons.
- Defeating bosses in the Sepulcher of the First Ones raid.
- Completing wings of Torghast on Layers 13 or higher.
- Completing Layers of The Jailer’s Gauntlet challenge wing in Torghast (one-time reward per Layer).
- From
Cosmic Flux Parcels, bought with
Attendant’s Token of Merit if you do not pick loot from the Great Vault.
- Scrapping existing Legendaries refunds 100% of the Cosmic Flux spent to craft them.
Cosmic Flux from Zereth Mortis Activities
- Daily Quests give 75
Cosmic Flux each.
- The weekly quest Patterns Within Patterns in Zereth Mortis gives you 400
- Opening treasures for the first time each day provides 75
- Opening small treasures gives you 10-14
- Rare treasures give you 200
Enlightened Broker Supplies (The Enlightened Paragon Reputation reward) contains 1,000
- Rare Elites in Zereth Mortis drop anywhere from 50-75
- Defeating a Sepulcher of the First Ones raid boss awards 100
- Winning a Rated Battleground gives you 100
- Clearing a Mythic Dungeons rewards 87-100

Cosmic Flux from Torghast
A wing of Torghast provides a total of 100
- Layer 13 rewards 70
- Layer 14 rewards 10
- Layer 15 rewards 10
- Layer 16 rewards 10
The Jailer’s Gauntlet also gives you the following amount of Cosmic Flux:
- Layer 1 gives you 50
- Layer 2 gives you 75
- Layer 3 gives you 100
- Layer 4 gives you 125
- Layer 5 gives you 200
- Layer 6 gives you 300
- Layer 7 gives you 400
- Layer 8 gives you 500

so it seems like im either forced to do all ZM content for every single alt or do 15 m+ a week for each alt to use the catalyst because a lot of this stuff i know i cant do on most of them i.e. high torghast layers
I feel they should just let us send the stuff to alts from our main, even if it gave us a bad conversion rate. So far they’ve resisted putting anything like this in.

how to not get cosmic flux? im sitting at 52k and thats after 6 max lvl legies and 3 tier pieces
i stoped doing the dailies for flux several weeks ago once i got max cyphers
ye the fact they didnt on week 1 of the catalyst is a crime against humanity

wouldnt be hard for them to later, maybe on .5, to add a account bound item at 20% loss

This solution is such a nobrainer it’s crazy it’s not a thing. I have so much flux on my main than I could ever dream of spending on anythig useful, but it’s just going to sit there unused, probably forever.
