I hit 120 and I need friendly for benthic gear. For the past two hours I’ve been doing quests in Drustvar and NOTHING is giving rep. They’re not even giving ap. This is the biggest waste of time ever.
Not sure which quests reward rep and which don’t in Drustvar (haven’t quested on my alliance) but you should be able to find those on wowhead.

Change the setting ‘Increases rep with’ to the faction you need.
world quests in nazjatar give you rep for benthic gear.
Drustvar has nothing to do with benthic or benthic rep requirement.
Besides, as far as i remember, i didn’t need to do anything for benthic gear, other than going to nazjatar and following the quest chain. So i don’t understand why you need rep for benthic in the first place.
you need mana pearls. And those are also earned in nazjatar by doing some of the daily quests and world quests and from time to time, emissary for nazjatar.
My guess, he needs to unlock WQ’s first. At least I assumed that since he mentioned he needed friendly reputation.
Um I’m pretty sure I read that I need friendly rep with Order of Embers to do world quests. You’re saying this is false?
As far as i know, that wasn’t the case. Or maybe i’m wrong.
Once you get to the quest where you establish the Order, you get a big chunk of rep.
It’s not that far from the intro, just don’t bother with side quests, only do the main quests.
Yes I think that’s all you need to do you need to establish the order of embers so just do main quests for lucy wavecrest once you save her from being hanged.
Follow the war campaign. Eventually you’ll just kind of wind up unlocking world quests, and after that it’s all obvious

How to Unlock BFA World Quests
Hit 120
Unlock all three footholds as part of the Alliance or Horde War Campaigns.
Hit Friendly with the 3 major Kul Tiras (if Alliance)/Zandalar (if Horde), in the quest
Uniting Kul Tiras/
Track your progress in the Battle for Azeroth Attunement Tracker.
If you already have unlocked World Quests on a 120 character before, future alts still need to unlock all three footholds from their War Campaigns, but they are no longer required to reach Friendly with their factions.
