Hello! I have played WoW for the past 4-5 years and only recently decided to try and make a guild for me and all my alts. When I got all of them in they all started on Neutral rep with the guild, therefore there is no “Renowned” guild tabard for me to put on them and to quest/do dungeons with them for rep. Whenever I played for a bit / quested /did some dungeons on my lvl 46 Hunter I noticed 0 rep gain from all that play time. Am I missing something? There should be rep gains from quests/dungeons even without a tabard, right?
Yes, there should be guild rep gains from quests. I don’t think you get it from dungeons.
I made an alt to get the Deathwatch Hatchling once from a guild that had unlocked it, and I just quested to … about level 40 at the time, so about level 20 now … to get Revered.
Are you sure you are getting no guild rep from regular quests?
You need to do non trivial quests, i.e quests that are level appropriate for your character.
This is true, but it’s hard to find trivial (grey) quests while levelling nowadays.
Oh! I tried doing a bit of trivial quests so I can have an easier time completing them. Didn’t know, that they HAD to be normal and not trivial quests. I watched a video on youtube , which said I could do trivial quests for guild rep, but I guess it could be only with the Renowned tabard or old content. Thanks for both of the helpful replies.
Personally I would run the mechenar with the guild tabard, it’s been a while so it should give you more guild rep, it does with race tabards.
