I have 12 Legendaries from Legion in my bank
Add to that Frost and Unholy weapons, weapon skin drops etc.
I should just throw them away but can’t help feeling they should be worth something in scrap in game - even if its just old mats
Very useful for TW if you do them .
Iam still testing wether artifacts or normal weapons are better for TW atm .
I know the cata legendary staff is very good in TBC and Wotlk TW.
Just look at them as a keepsake of times you have had .

tabs now in game so banks and void storage unless a hoarder is not a problem ATM .
Just don’t do, if you would be able to get rid of them, some of the aspects you could unlock will not be unlockable because these need the artifact equipped (not all, but some of them, for example the Balance of Power one).
You can put them in the Void Storage if i remember right…or put it into the bank for sure.
Won’t uninstalling be enough? 
OP we have plenty of bag space and mostly no use for it. Just throw it in the bank.

To be able to view accessible skins at your order hall weapon “rack”, you need to have the weapon equipped, so that would have to be changed too, if it would be possible to delete it.
