How to get second artifact weapon

I have a level 62 retri paladin and I decided to get the second artifact, protection, to try some tanking for a change. When I accepted the quest in Class Hall, my spec was changed to protection as it normally does however I don’t have a shield and/or single handed weapon and Ashbringer is unusable.

How am I suppose to complete the protection artifact quest without a weapon? Is there a weapon vendor somewhere?

I think you get a box in your inventory where you start. Open that and it gives you a couple of weapons for your specs. You can also speak to an NPC in the hub, though I can’t recall the NPCs name. Sorry.

Yes, but I think they are scrappable. So if you accidentally scrapped them…

Theres a NPC in Dalaran which sells weapons for all specs for 5 bronze if I remember correctly
