How do I get to Korthia? I finished SL story, didn’t really do covenant. Where do I get follow up quest?
Pretty sure you need to do the covenant story / renown pathway.
There will be some quests to open up Korthia involving Venari in the Maw (sell up any Stygia you have before starting that, wish I had done so).
Skips are available for some of this on alts if you’ve done it once.

To have access to the Chains of Domination storyline, you must have completed Chapter 2 - Torghast from the 9.0 Covenant Campaign.
So if I remember right you need to save Jaina and then you can go to Korthia.

Didn’t even check if the zone itself is accessible without starting the quest line… Is it? O_õ
you don’t. there is nothing for you in korthia but pain and suffering.
You can start Korthia immediately after 60 and opening Maw/Venari/Runecarver/Torghast BUT as I found out on my recent alt, you will get stopped on the Korthia campaign, well before getting the Primus, very quickly until you finish your Covenant campaign.
I was disappointed in that. I had really hoped not to have to go through all those exact quests in exactly the same order all over again.

the quest to ge to jorthia popped up just after i freed the runecarver hand (the 1st).

That’s really a pity. I mean, they could’ve just attached that to the Threads of Fate option. That’s what it was meant for. Avoid playing through the Shadowlands storyline all over again. Doesn’t make much sense to exclude this quest section from the concept.

I do - kind of - see a point. So you have a Venthyr main, and you bring up a Kyrian alt, and the alt can get into ilevel 200+ gear quickly after dinging, but still will need to go back to finish up the Kyrian.
If I squint a bit, I can see this making sense to somebody.
However, there are only 4 Covenants. I made one character per Covenant. Two of them just did their Covenant campaigns and then returned back to their Garrisons. Fair enough.
But when I brought up another alt, it was obviously in a Covenant I had already done, so it’s a pure repeat.

Haven’t even managed to finish two covenant campaigns by now lol. But doing all quests, M+ 16 in season 1 and get exalted with one char was enough to get bored with repetitive content already. Couldn’t be bothered to do either Korthia or Torghast with a second char at all rn.
