Facts:
CC spam is annoying.
Diminishing returns don’t work, you die in 8 sec cc chain.
Nobody likes it, it’s annoying cancer being unable to do anything.
The “cc balance” has always been barely okay for 2-3 arenas, not BGs.
What’s the problem?
These facts cause the gameplay to boil down to 1 pathetic strategy;
poke-and-run. Everyone stays together, if you get off that big group you get nuked to hell. It kills any and all possible ways to actually unlock the full potential and have small-big BGs be played more based on creativity, bravery, skill, risk taking, solo heroism.
It’s always about being a coward in a big ball group and that is pathetic.
How to fix it?
Some suggestions, rough numbers to get the idea, and it doesn’t mean you need to implement them all together.

Small overall hotfix: Reduce all dmg you take and deal, to other players, 1% per players in the BG. Nothing crazy but it would be a nice bottom line to reduce the insane turbo killing cc spamming. So 10 man = 10%, 40 man = 40%. -
B
Disable hard snares/stuns if target is above 50%. You are already a total underdog going alone vs 10. At least you get to do some aoe dmg or snares before you die. -

No stuns if target is below 15% life. -

I still want to see the best change ever:
Change all cc/stuns into debuffs that reduce the victims movement speed, attack/spell power magnitude. The end results would be pretty much the same, but 1000% more enjoyable, since players GET TO DO STUFF and nobody has to sit watching themself in a 20 sec fear stun pulled poly stun silence kick blind stun lock before dying.
It’s such a stupid meta that wow pvp has now, it’s ancient and needs this update.
Let people play. Stop the cc spam.
Doesn’t exist in any other pvp games and doesn’t need to be in wow either.
