Earthen Spike is very fun ability but since we don’t have big Lightning Bolt build anymore it only really buffs our physical damage. I get it can’t be all damage because then Chain Harvests would be insane but maybe we can add Elemental and Fire damage so this would make Earthen Spike an alternative for Elemental Spirits in PvE with Lavalash legendary and can help Legacy of the Frost Witch + Elemental Blast build. This would make this talent more viable and not dead this expansion. I personally enjoyed playing it in Legion and BFA.
ES buffs Elemental Blast already…
Does it? It says Nature and Physical damage. Elemental Blast is Elemental Damage but if it does it’s great.
It does, as well as Sundering which is Flamestrike, both fire ( up by mastery) and Physical ( up by Earth Spike). In fact afaik Elemental Blast will be enhanced by all mastery/talents/conduits that are about fire/ice or nature Dmg, it has always been all those schools combined.
