Hello everybody.
So i did HC Raid this night with guild…They are getting rdy for Mythic, gathering more players etc while also having normal and hc runs during week.
We wiped 2 times on Lady Ashave but first 3 bosses went smooth.
On 2nd pull we were getting rdy for nuke thing and i died with 1 other member, also whole raid went low and it looked like wipe but healers managed to solve it.They continued and failed to kill boss at like 18%, he got shield and it was wipe.
So for the third pull I get whisper that my dps is bad ( from 21k dropped to like 13k) and Im getting replaced, tnx for coming and all that. Im 426 Outlaw Rogue , did 25k on Radiance boss, 22 on fish one and also like 20-22k on first boss.
To be honest I took replacement a little bit personal, I know its just a game but "nice wow, another thing to add to my I SUCK AT THIS list. I need advice how TO IMPROVE in GAME,HOW TO STOP SUCKING DIICK,what is like average DPS for 425 ilvl or so,also had situation when a guy was trashing me for not doing 50k+ aoe dps while I was doing like 30-35k.
To do good dps by far the most important thing is to press buttons in the right order. 2nd most important is to have the correct talents. After that make sure you gem and enchant etc, these are important but won’t turn a bad player into a good one.
By far the best tool for analysis is warcraflogs.
You can view rankings per boss, per spec so you can see what other outlaw rogues are doing.

It shows what abilities he used, how many times and what damage they did.

This is the most important view you can look at in my opinion
It will tell you second for second exactly what buttons he pressed. This lets you compare what you are doing to what hes doing. Of course there will always be variances. He may have got great trinket procs, he may have had tons of crits, he may have cheesed on add damage. But overall it’s an excellent indication of if you’re pressing the right buttons in the right order.
Heres another excellent resource but its more “theory” in that its things to think about, UI, how to think ahead and so on. Worth a read though it may not be exactly what you’re looking for.
