Hi all,
I have been doing quite many keys in the bracket of 10-15 but I have been doing those splitted between healing and dps.
I guess people see my score for my specific role in game right?
What will be the strategy now to increase it?
http s : // raider .io / characters / eu / stormscale / Ipullyounuke
play more as healer or as dps and which keys try to incrase further the lower ones or try to push less ones higher?
Also If I move realms my rio score will start from 0?
They see your overall score, but they also see you’ve earned it as a mix of dps and healer, that might weaken your chances for some groups. If I were you, I’d focus on the healing, for a number of reasons:
There are many more DPS than healers, so healers have an easier time to begin with.
Resto druids are one of the most sought M+ healers, while feral and balance druids much less so.
To increase your score, what counts is the difference between what you have, and what you’re about to time: if you go from a 1-chested 15 to a 2-chested 15, that will be a much smaller increase than going from a 3-chested 10 to a barely timed 14. So, if you want to increase your score in large steps, look at your lowest keys, and try to do them a good few levels higher.
Once most of your keys are in 15s, then inch towards 16s and 17s.
Oh, and: you can put links between backticks (`), that way you don’t have to add spaces, and thus, they become much easier to copy & paste and then visit.
can you see it now?
Can you suggest me then the specific dungeons I need to do ?
I am getting confused between healing and dps spec and the total. That shows different type of dungeons and keys
I checked beforehand too, but it’s much easier now.
Yeah. Total will show all dungeons, healing will show only those you healed, and DPS only those you DPS’d. It’s the total people see (mostly, but in the grand scheme of things, just caring about the total is fine).
Atal’dazar, Temple of Sethraliss, Freehold and Waycrest Manor would be my first four suggestions, all of those on 13 or higher. 12+ works for the first three too, but might as well do a 13 then.
Once those are taken care of, proceed from the bottom of the list on RIO, and try to time the lowest one a level or two higher.
If you have trouble finding groups for the mentioned dungeons, then running any dungeon at a higher level than you already did is going to increase your RIO, as long as you time them.
So I just did a shring of storm from +7 timed that I had it before to a +12 non-timed (it was a pug festival).
What shall I do next make it timed? Or do the mechagon workshop that never did on this car to a +10 something?
RIO is a very very simple scoring system. How people use it, when selecting who to invite, is another matter, but the score itself is as simple as possible.
You get a score for the best you have done in each dungeon, which is roughly the number of the dungeon times 10, with bonuses for chests and time. You can see that in the table. You add up those scores to get your overall score. You get a score for each role. The Overall is the best score in that dungeon you have done on any role.
In general, the most efficient way to increase your score, at any given point, is to work on your weakest dungeon.
In your case, Atal is your lowest as Healer, and you don’t have anything at all recorded there as Feral. The biggest gain you could get right now would be by snagging as high as possible there. If you did that on a 13 as Feral, that one run would not only increase your Overall score by about 30, but also add about 130 to your DPS score.
After that, you look at the table again, and concentrate on your new weakest.
How people look at the scores is something else. Some group makers may only look at the Overall. Others may look at spec-specific scores. Others will look both at spec scores and your score for that specific dungeon. You could do a lot for your DPS score, though not for your Overall, just by doing modest-level completions of the dungeons you have never done as Feral. You are at 888 DPS. A +10 as Feral on each of the five you haven’t done in that spec would immediately boost you near 1400 DPS, even if it doesn’t increase your Overall at all.
As resto.currently I am at 50%rejection rate. As feral do not care much. I play feral for wpvp but I can still do some m+ if my overall score increases. My assumption is that people with good dps and healing score are more likely to be invited since they know better the mechanics(since they already did two different roles)
Oh. Well, in that case your priority will be to get all dungeons to +15 timed as Resto. That will increase your raw overall score and assure group leaders that you have already done whatever dungeons it is on a 15.
Again, increasing your lowest dungeons does you most good, score-wise.
don’t be surprised, I also get lots of declines as a tank to +15s.
They might looking for something else or just want to inv 3k rio players for whatever reasons.
Yesterday I had a very nice feral in my group. Even if you reach 2k RIO as heal and then want to dps, make sure you can pull your own weight as dps.
Don’t try to dps a +15 without good corruptions and knowing how to play that.
The amount of players that got carried by the rest of my group is actually quite high.
Doesn’t help if you do 50k overall dps at the end just for the sake of dpsing. People will get angry and might even leave quickly the run.
try your dpsing in +10 first
