Am I just supposed to solo Legion Raids?
I really don’t want to level an alt up to 110 just for transmog.
What in ten characters.
Okay, you want to collect transmog from Legion raids?
Then do Legion raids, but you’ll have to be 110+ to do them, no way out of that.
Usually people list groups and do them…
Better at 120 though
If you’re well geared at 120 you can solo some bosses of night hold with some struggle
But still, better to be in a group

No, they were designed to be played last expansion with a group of people.
Can you solo Legion raids?
Yes, at 120 level it should be relatively easy.
If you want a transmog from one of these raids, you need a class that can wear this particular type of armour.
I.e. cloth sets won’t drop for a paladin. Even if you get the pieces on a priest, your paladin won’t be able to transmog plate gear into them, nor any other type.
As such, there is very little point in leveling an alt specifically to acquire transmog pieces.

Even solo for some bosses at 120 it’s not going to work. Just get a couple of people via group finder.
I believe LFR difficulty ones can be beaten alone, though I have never tried all of them.
I know I have managed to bruteforce the Desolate Host on LFR.
I guess grouping up is quicker and more fun, anyway.
Legion raids don’t have the loot system of previous expansions’ raids (legacy loot I think it’s called), meaning that you have personal loot enabled there.
This means that gathering a group via group finder and blitzing them is the best way of doing them, as it gives the highest chance of whatever mog you’re looking for.

It’s too difficult to solo completely at 120 for now.
With Legion having a different type of loot system wherein the only items that would drop are items your class can use and your RNG being the same if you went with a full raid, you would be better off doing it with a bunch of people who wear the same armor type as you do.
If you can’t get a group together to funnel mogs to you, being in a group lets you complete the raid at least.
So, yeah, you can solo until some point but it’s still better in a group.
