i have no idea how they do it , i’m passionate about the game and i want to learn how to make and edit videos and make little stories here and there, but have no idea how to start or how to do anything yet
please tell me if you have some knowledge about the topic

It’s incredibly complex, requires use of many different softwares. Takes 100+ hours to make a 10 min video. Realistically it would take years to learn for a good quality video. Research "autodesk maya"software and go from there.
Capturing backgrounds is easy, just record in game. Actual character movements, lip syncing, annimations is a very very lengthy (and boring) process.

It’s actually not that hard. The hardest thing is to think about your scenario and to pen your storyboard. Once you know what exactly you want your scenes to look like, you just go to WoW Unit Viewer and get the unit models you want in the poses you need to have.
Then, you put them on a video editing software and you literally build your video.
