I play elemental shaman and since I need to cast my fire ele almost at every boss at the start I’m having trouble because I don’t stand in meele range. If I can’t cast it in meele range it won’t attack and just stays by my side. Any tips?

Since one of the last “hotfixes” your fire elemental should attack the target where you put flame shock on last. But the range is limited I guess.
you can macro /petattack to one of your spells and then the ele will go.
I did not find it as an issue.
The only encounter where you need to position your elemental in the melee range is Sinestra, otherwise it always attacks the boss.
The only thing that might confuse your Elemental friend is that you don`t have a boss in target when you spawn it.
Yea, well this fix was published, but does not really work in the game.
