How to manage my binds?

There’s a lot of discussion about the upcoming expansion. Returning “class specific spells” etc. I’m very concerned, mainly about PvP. I currently have around 50-60 binds on my rogue or holy priest mainly due to PvP reasons. I can’t image that I would need to bind few more spells for any of them. I already have a mouse with approximately 20 possible binds, but I just have no idea where to bind more spells.
Do you know about any good guide showing how to manage my binds. I’m specifically interested in good guides for PvP healers where you need to switch targets a lot (friendly, enemy, focus) since I’m going to play a disc priest.

Most returning class abilities seem to be somewhat redudant and sometimes don’t even qualify for any reason to bind it on a button.

That being said, are you using shift / ctrl modifiers? Are you using arena target modifiers?

Are you multibinding several things to the same button (e.g. stealth and a stealth only ability on the same button)? Are you using interface addons and / or stealth bars?

60 binds seem a bit much, even for a rogue. If you’re using too many specific arena target macros (e.g. literally every targeted skill three times) have you considered binding target arena target 1, 2 or 3 to buttons, rather than binding every ability three times and only bind truly crucial skills such as CC to instantly affect targets 1-3?

For healing purposes, I’d recommend binding most things on mouseover macros, except for again, very crucial cc spells such as MC in your case. If you’re using gladius, even a mouseover smite / penance / purge the wicked can help immensely reduce the amount of buttons you need.

Of course it requires some getting used to. If you’ve achieved high ratings with your current keybinds, I wouldn’t recommend changing too much of it, since changing keybinds often can be as difficult as learning a new class. Everything feels out of place.
