I thought if ur main did the full story ur alt did not have to?
I dinged 60 on my alt with around 1 zone left, and now im 60 but im not sure how to pick covenant and get the quest that take me to the maw and thorgast etc?
On my main those happend as soon as you dinged 60 but now no quest popped up?
World quest unlocked instantly but how do I get the rest of the level 60 stuff?

Have you completed the first chapter of your covenant campaign on your main character?
The thing here is that you NEED to complete all the mandatory storylines on the first runthrough (on your main) so check if you have done all the chapters and intro chapters to your covenant on that main - to the point where you unlock the forge and get your first conduit etc.
When you have done that, and done all the intro stuff for your covenant on your main, then you can, on your alt:
A) Choose to skip the Storyline all together.
B) choose to level through storyline.
IF you choose A) on the alt, you will get to pick Covenant right that moment when you enter SL, regardless of level, It is the first thing you do.
IF You picked B) You HAVE to play through the storyline again, before you can pick covenant.
Regardless of what you pick, you will have to do content in all zones.
A) Gives you the freedom of choice, covenant right away - BUT you have to help all the 4 zones to a specifik % before you can continue to unlock your actual covenant.
B) is like it was with your main.
The only thing that benefits you if you dont mind just leveling… which is pointless cause you still need to do the other stuff in order to to do ya know, end game content to unlock stuff
