As in the title. I have farmed the hat, 4 armor pieces and the title with achievement, I am honored with the Bloodsail and hated with Steamwheedle. What’s the best (fastest) way to get their trust back? And one more question, if I’m going for Insane in the membrane achievement, do I ALWAYS need to have honored with Bloodsail or once I have it and then I lose it it still counts for the Insane in the membrane?
You don’t have to maintain your rep for the Insane in the Membrane meta, you just need to have reached the required rep at some point in history.
Most people do it in the same order you have stuck to so far:
- Reach honored with the Bloodsail (implies hated with Steamweedle)
- Buy all the Bloodsail rewards
- Recover steamweedle reps, get them back to exalted
- End up with all 4 Steamweedle reps Exalted and Bloodsail Hated
There are 2 alternative paths, but probably not worth going down those:
- Either doing the opposite order where you end up with 4 Steamweedle Hated and Blood sail Honored or Exalted.
- Getting all 5 Exalted at the same time, which i think involved a lot of extra work.
Anyway, I think the recovery process that you need now, mainly just involved killing a lot of pirates on the beaches of Tanaris, but you may want to check an Insane in the Membrane guide on wowhead for specific details and tips.
Appreciate your answer but I already figured it out for myself after writing that post, Im a productive person. Hardly found out that there are repeatable cloth quests for every Steamwheedle subfaction and I just bought everything from the AH and got Neutral in an hour with all these factions and got hated with Bloodsail, but u helped me with the Insane clarification. Ty
