not yet, even if it would fix the problem. Because I don’t want my entire game settings to be reset. I would need more time to set everything up again, than to click away all the trading post tasks at the quest tracker.

I’ve had to clear the cache in the past, it’s not like deleting your addons etc.
No need to worry.
It does nothing to your game settings, its the cache of the battle.net application.
Try it, for me it worked.
