Now that void storage is gone, how do we remove unwanted transmog or enchant from items that we want to store without said effects? For example I have Keeshan’s Bandana, that I could transmog as a set, but I can’t remove it because it’s an item level 1 item, that you shouldn’t be able to transmog in the first place. In the ancient days you used the void storage, now what?
Interesting. Never used it for that. All grey and white items are learnt so you can sell it. You can’t remove enchants but you can remove their appearance via transmog.
I want to keep it as a memento. You could remove enchants with the void storage and I can’t remove the transmog from Keeshan’s Bandana for whatever reason, I can only apply transmog to it, but only from sets, otherwise it’s says ‘this item cannot be transmogified’.
Just have to stick it in one of your tabs then. The last two are from void storage.
You can remove a transmog modification by equipping the item, then going to the Transmog NPC and clicking the Revert icon of that specific slot.
For the enchant, I don’t know.
Maybe I phrased it wrong, but I can’t remove the transmog, because you shouldn’t be able to transmog it. It’s an item level 1 white item, when you hover over it, it says ‘this item cannot be transmogified’. The only way to put a transmog on it, is if you use a set piece, than the helm appears as a transmog, even though it shouldn’t, but since you transmogged it, you can’t remove it. It one of an only kind item, never encountered anything like it.
In that case do what Tyrathion said: Place it in one of the tabs where you also keep other mementos. I have literally 4 of the 6 tabs exclusive with mementos.
