My friend and me were in a dungeon.
This one guy start a voting trying to expel the tank, issue: “Slooow”
Since he wasnt even going that slow, i vote no, also he can be a new player and all.
I write on the chat, if you have a problem, talk about it
Second vote trying to expel the tank: “Cmooon”
Now we get a third vote in a row, issue: “QeQ”
My friend get expelled. He was doing top dps and bothering no one.
I start asking why he got expelled. No one says anything. 2 minutes after i get expelled.
Also i get leave mark so i cant apply to another dungeon for 30 minutes.
Now the hard question is, how is that there is NOTHING on blizzard support to report this kind of toxic behaviour? All i can is right click on his name and report for inapropiate name or inapropiate communication.
Also i would want to be able to open report on players like this and follow the case, and get to know exactly the penalty applied. Is that too much to ask?
People are allowed to vote you out of the dungeon for any reason. It’s very annoying to have slow tanks, so it is absolutely legitimate to start a kick vote against them. If the majority doesn’t want to play with such a tank anymore and votes him out successfully, that’s called democracy.
Why didn’t you two just keep your mouths shut, rejected the kick vote attempts, put the trash talker on your ignore lists and played the game?
3 out of 2 isnt it? i remmeber doing time dungeon with guild and it was like 1 pug vs 3 of us and the pug dude tried to boot one of our guys and we said no ´.´
So someone caused some drama in a dungeon and you want to continue it here?
Well, you can right-click the name of the players you didn’t like and you can report them. That’s that. They can review the logs and will see everything that was done and said in game. Why drag it on?
The usage of VTK is not against Blizzard rules. If you were harassed otherwise, which you also stated were not (none said anything in chat) then you could’ve reported them potentially for chat harassment.
You could open a report, nothing would come to it.
You wouldn’t be informed of the exact penalty. That is a case between the reported and Blizzard + privacy. And yes, too much asked for.
The only thing that would happen is “he’s not punished enough!!!” or “wait, they got punished, what was the penalty?” This applies atm when you receive the random mails after reports that action was taken.
We should have done that, but i didnt think they would be so brave to try and expell us too. Also i think he was doing random expel because my friend didnt say a word.
When you join into completely random content with complete strangers, anything can happen. If you want to play at a specific pace that is perfectly suited for you, there are plenty of ways to do that in The War Within, but please be real and don’t expect that in random queued content.
Well, at least being slow is a minimally legitimate albeit idiotic reason to kick someone.
I still remember a guy in my dungeon being kicked in the first vote as soon as the kick protection expired with the only reason given being “Eugh mechagnome”.
