It’s been a hot minute since I levelled a Horde toon through Legion and correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t see an NPC to skip the intro like you can on Alliance. I vaguely remember there being one unless it was removed during pre patch?
None of my leveling characters have been able to skip the Legion introduction in Chromie time.

Could Chromie Time be the issue? It’s strange how I can skip the intro on Alliance but not on Horde. The more I use Chromie Time the more I see bugs popping up. I’m sure the guy you turn the first quest in had the option to skip it. In fact I’m sure I did it on my Nightborn last month.
Yes, the Sergeant outside Orgrimmar gave you the option to skip the first few quests and the scenario, and you would be teleported straight to Dalaran above the Broken Isles. No more, apparently. I thought it was intended as part of the Chromie leveling experience, but if Alliance is able to skip, then it sounds like a bug.

Yeah I think it must be a bug as I have just skipped the intro quest on this toon yesterday. It seems like Chromie Time has broken a few things.

Yes on at least 4 characters.
I just skipped it a few hours ago on my horde alt: talk to the guy outside of Orgrimmar, he’ll give you a quest to prepare, etc. Do that quest, take the followup, but don’t do it: walk back to the orc outside Orgrimmar, and then he will have the skip option.

Huh I’ll give that a go tomorrow. That’s changed then because when I did it on my Mage I didn’t have to do that little side quest to prepare. The Orc had the option to skip right away.
Oh, that’s great! Wowhead should make a PSA about this, I don’t think many people would realise they should go back to the Sergeant to skip. I certainly didn’t!

I did it at max level on my hunter (after exiting Chromie Time). I was still unable to skip it.
Yes can confirm this. I think they should do a post too so people don’t think it’s a bug like I did. Don’t know why it was changed. You used to be able to go up to the dude, hand the quest in and choose from there if you want to skip the intro. I never had to do the prep thing. A big change like that should be documented in my opinion.
I recently got the ring and skipped the rest.
