Is it just Shadowpan rep atm?
Hoping I am dumb and can’t find how to spend it, so I can get Valor gear on alt too.
Visit the Valor vendor at Niuzao Temple. Items are gated behind Honored or Revered with the four primary factions:
- Shado-Pan - Townlong Steppes zone quests & dailies
- Golden Lotus - Vale of Eternal Blossoms dailies
- August Celestials - Dailies at a random temple, find out which at Shrine of Two Moons
- Klaxxi - Dread Wastes zone quests & dailies
If you complete all the quests in Dread Wastes and Townlong Steppes you will have enough rep to buy the Klaxxi and Shado-Pan pieces. You will have to daily quest for the rest.
At Revered with each faction you can buy a Grand Commendation that doubles your rep gain for that faction on every character on your account so alts reach Honored much faster.

Was kind of hoping that I could spend my valor points in some way, not have to rep farm on every char, even if rep speeds can be boosted for alts.

Item upgrading, I suppose. Debuts with 5.1.
Doesn’t solve getting the gear but it does boost your power by quite a bit. I’m hazy on the actual costs involved, though, but I doubt it’ll be terribly expensive.

And valor points would be converted to justice at each phase start. No, the best way for him is to do dailies till revered both Klaxxi and Shado-pan and buy those faction commendation, so next alt he levels in stepped and wastes would get him to honored with Shado-pan and revered with Klaxxi. The rest of the slots can be filled with celestial dungeons (LFR) gear.

You can convert them to conquest points in Orgrimmar and then buy iLvl 483 PvP gear
Sadly you need rep to be ALLOWED to spend valour points, makes no sense if you ask me, this is vanilla classic design level of padding.
