How to start playing arena

Any tips? I’ve been wanting to get into arena for a long time, watching streams it looks really fun but i just don’t know how to get into it.

With M+ you just start at 0 and grind your way up, with raiding you just find guilds and hop between guilds to get into higher difficulties, but how do i ‘‘start’’ playing arena? When i scan LFG everyone demands prior experience, what if i don’t have any real experience playing arena?

And no i don’t have IRL friends to queue with, they stopped playing in warlords of draenor.

  • Honestly just be honest about your experience, look for a partner at your mmr/skilllevel. There is tons of likeminded i promise you!

  • Look up some comps that are fairly viable this season. So you dont get discouraged (like dont play dubbel Demo lock in 2s and expecting to have a good time).

  • Queue alot of skirmish, and 2v2 to get an entry on how arena is.

  • Last but maybe most important, just play, dont get obsessed with rating and stuff. Just play to learn the comps and counters.

  1. of all gl in the Arena.

  2. Quee a ton of games and improve qqqqqq untill u vormit from arena so u kinda know everyclass ability.

I am trying to be honest about my experience, wich is none really.

I was just wondering how to start. Do i just make a group in LFG titled ‘‘no experience’’ and just bash my face against LFG? Are there any ‘‘learner’’ communities for arena specifically 2s like there are learner communities for M+?

you can play skirmishes to start with to get a feel for arena game play, secondly PvP guilds are very good to get into arenas, silvermoon is known to be a PvE realm so i’m not sure you’ll find many on there. I’m on Outland and there are tons of PvP guilds.

Also go outside stormwind gate that’s where alot of PvP players hang around, go speak with people who are dueling and see if they want to try 2s, can be alot easier than LFG spamming :slight_smile:

This is won’t work. Cause ppl said: “don’t wasit my rating”. I’ve got rated 1400, and stuck at it. My alt have 187 ilvl and nobody want’s to play. Win rate less than 45%. cause get some team and get 1300+, next day new partners lose raiting.

Also I’ve spotted 2s and 3s slots as Cat I lose only OP classes teams, with fokin WW, fokin Retri, Owls, Rogues… when they in one party. Or triple subs…

Also bad rating count system.

Arenas is broken, PvP balance is broken.

Topic starter, do not make nervous yourself, don’t play Arena it’s WORST PVP SEASON EVER in wow!
