Playing Survival Hunter abit seriously for the 1st time and wanted to main but came into some discomfort.
I know Raptor strike/mongoose bite is kinda our focus spender & Wild fire bomb our main damage dealer after RS/MB while kill command in survival plays a very different role, a heavy role / tedious role.
It’s damage is low but we need to click it before EVERY skills because the main reason been it increases the damage of other skills by (x?)% and the damage scales with our total crit rate. For some reason, game wants me to play with legit 0% haste making GCDs nearly +1s for each click.
Wildfire Bomb DOT’s duration seems extremely fast (6s) because of slow play style. idk if i am playing the class good but atm survival hunter gives me the feeling of bloated enhancement shaman.
At the moment in PVE, my engaging are as follows:
Coordinated Assault → Wildfire bomb → Explosive shot → Flanking Strike → Wildefire bomb → Fury of the eagle → kill command → Wildfire bomb → kill command …so on
I keep going same afterwards because the whole process becomes “kill command before every click” situation because of the damage boost but if i ignore the damage boost then my DPS falls off hard and been slow makes it even worst.
Maybe making Tip of the spear a duration base buffer would be better then a stack base buffer?, Instead making kill command give us 10s of Tip of the spear buff for (x?)% dmg buffer would be great?
