Hello fellow hunters i recently started BFA as a hunter (tamer), i am 36lvl and i keep lvling up and i would like to know can i only tame beasts? or i also can tame something else like elements etc? and how?
you can only tame beasts and spirit beasts, spirit beasts are only tameable when you are in beast mastery spec and after a certain level because it’s an ability you have to unlock. you can also tame some mechanical pets, like spiders and dogs, but you’ll need an item that makes it possible for your character to tame them once used, it’s easily findable in the auction house, but the name escapes me so you’ll have to search it :p. There are a lot of cool things to tame even if they are almost all categorized as beasts, don’t get discouraged, search PETOPIA on google, you’ll find a site that lists every pet that is tameable in wow and also where to find them.

You can also tame mechanicals, but you need to get this item
you can buy it from AH i’m certain.

Goblins and Gnomes can tame mechanicals from the start, other races need this item.
