How to tank as a blood DK at lvl 70?

H-hewwo owo >/////////////////////< is anybwody dwere?

I am struggling to tank as a DK in WOTLK uwuuuuuuuu. I cant gain aggro and it takes so slow to build it up. I quickly lose my rune.

ATM I go like this: icy touch, plague strike, pestilence. That is 3 gcds and then I can barely do anything more.

How should I start my pulls uwu?

I am freshly lvl 70 dinged.

Welcome to wotlk. Blood is still could be an option, but pretty bad tank here. While leveling you should look at frost, bcs it’s a perfect tank spec against physical damage. On level 80 you can also try unholy against mage bosses, but still, blood is a way much below.

Are you sure you are in Frost presence? I have had 0 issue tanking as blood, even tanked some of Sunwell in Blues/greens with 1-2 epic items

And btw, how it’s been mentioned above: keep in mind that in wotlk FROST PRESENCE is for tank, not the blood one
