I am pretty sure this was discussed before, but couldn’t find it. How do you transfer your whole UI and settings from one char to another? Thank you!
First of all if you use addons. Most of them that have a lot of settings that usualy allow you to save character profiles. In case of those you just simply copy the profile via ingame addon settings UI. Just look for profiles option.
If they don’t support profiles you can just go to _retail_\WTF\Account<Your Account ID><Your Realm><Your Character>
There you will find SavedVariables folder, there are all addon settings for this character, you can copy this whole folder or just some files for the addons you want settings to copy.
You can also copy other files like bindings-cache if you want to copy your keybinds, chat-cache if you want to copy chat settings, layout-local for layout of some UI elements and macros-cache for character specific macros.
Copy the files you want to the folder of your other character. As for account ID unless your PC was used to log in on multiple accounts there should be only one folder. If you have multiple accounts on one Battlenet account then after ID there will #number that corresponds to your account number, for example #1 for WoW1 account.
