I am a returning player and I am considering maining priest for this expansion. I prefer to play healer for M+ rather than shadow priest. How is holy doing in mythic+? is it worth investing time in it?
From the bit of testing I did, it feels fine. Its the same as always: more work, for worse results. You can still heal any key fine, until you get to the absolute top end. If you enjoy holy, play it. This is the best its been in a while
I could not disagree more, Holy was way better in season 3 and season 4 of DF.
While Holy is decent in raids, it is one of the worst healers in m+, which was discussed in details in many other topics.
A lot of holy spells are either very weak (PoH) or outright dysfunctional (renew, prayer of mending).
In season 1 holy priest had to realy on hard casts of flash heal and heal. This season it will be more depending on using holy words cooldowns.
You’re more than welcome to try it out, just be mindful that Disc Priest in m+ will be better than you at pretty everything.
