How will Blizzard handle Zekhan's execution?

Now that we know that Saurfang's plot to destabilise the honourable Horde will fail, I think it's a given that he's going to die or be killed by the player but how do you think Zekhan's death will be handled?

Maybe the naive young troll will be redeemed (my preferred outcome) or might even be instrumental in helping us bring down Saurfang after his true colours are revealed.

I think it's more likely that Blizz will just turn him into another raid boss though or executed off screen in a book.

What are your thoughts?

Nobody touches Zekhan while I am on duty! Beware Assassins of my Pyroblast!

I feel like this thread is quite trollish. And not because of the characters that so far have posted.

Edit: Damn Erevien, you ruined my joke.
I think that you have no heart to even suggest such a thing -_-

I like this outcome, but I'm hoping for an angle of cowardice, where we discover Zekhan's true nature is just that of a parasite, and he'll latch onto whichever party he thinks will come out on top.

Otherwise, I do hope we get to kill him so that the Horde player can show off their loyalty to the Horde, and not betray their warchief AGAIN like they did in MoP.

I am literally shaking after reading this post and finding out what happens to Zekhan. How DARE Blizzard kill off yet another brand NEW troll character we've just come to meet? Are all trolls just throwaway characters? Where's the love for the troll community?

This recent update has brought me to tears, I hope this won't go live.

Tell me about it. First Vol'jin, then Rastakhan and now Zekhan? It's not fair, bros.

Maybe he'll be made into a loa.

loa of meme
I'm happy to see that Blizz is finally letting the Horde be the good guys and not force us everytime to support deceiving usurpers. I hope the Horde will continue to be portrayed as strong and heroic as it does in BfA.
I am against fighting my own kin but for you OP I will make exception. Nobody will harm my adopted boy. NOBODY.

I will kill the bastard who even thinks about it, tie it's ugly body to a mount and drag it through all over Orgrimmar to make prople see what happens to anyone who dares.
Srsly, were do you get it from, that whatever Saurfang plans will fail? I didn't see any hints.

You're joking right?
The ugly Troll and his senile master should have died long ago, when they were in range of the mastodontic, finely-crafted, beautifully-adorned and shining Stormwindian siege towers, armed with mighty and fully-charged cannons:

No matter. The Horde will be destroyed. It shall begin at Dazar'alor.

Hey I don't want him harmed either. I'm just being pragmatic.

I've been roleplaying trolls for twelve years so I've gotten used to the kinda things the writers keep putting us through by now.

Idk maybe he won't be executed. He might get away with just losing an arm (But because the loa have lost faith in him, it won't grow back.)

He could be a new Zul'jin.

Nice, another allianceposter trying to derail threads about Horde lore.

No, why?
The only somewhat dubious thing Sylvanas had done (the burning of Teldrassil) is 100% Saurfang's fault, after which he became inredibly mopey and is now plotting to overthrow the legitimate Warchief of the Horde.

Meanwhile the true sons and daughters of the Horde are bravely fighting and dieing against the oppressive imperialists of the Alliance.

imperialists of the Alliance.

i am not sure if we play same game.

Sooner Sylvanas will bite the dirt than for our new champ to get harmed. He became too popular to off him. Community would go bonkers.

This has got to become a meme at this point.
