Hi everyone, can someone clear something up for me? I was on Firemaw in a PvE guild and at the same time I did PvP with LFG and friends. Now I’ve moved my Druid to Shek’zeer because I thought I could keep doing arenas with LFG and my friends, but apparently not. How exactly does cross-realm work? Which realms can I do stuff with and which ones not?
All “active” realms are essentially ‘connected-realms’ all bound to Mirage Raceway.
Firemaw, Gehennas and all the other legacy reams being given free transfer, they are now dead realms, they’re not connected.
Because people - rightfully so - complained about names on such a massive mega realm, instead of giving us free transfer to Mirage we got our own realms, for Firemaw that realm is Shek’zeer.
When you join the open work in Shek’zeer, you can see people from all other connected realms, but not legacy realms like Firemaw.
I assume Firemaw can still LFG with players from other legacy realms, but maybe not the new “active” connected-realms / Mirage Raceway.
Yes the new “active” realms can group together between each other and together with Mirage Raceway.
The “legacy” realms aren’t connected with each other. That’s the reason they want us to transfer to the new mega realm Mirage Raceway + new active virtual realms to save devs time connecting the old realms.
I wonder how quickly will Firemaw die. Maybe not everyone has transferred off in 2 days.
