Looking from wowprogress Defias and other merged RP-PvP servers have total of 7385 active players, 3634 on Horde side and 3751 on Alliance side.
Are these numbers correct? World looks completely empty in almost every area. Is RP-PvP dead?
Defias alone used to have tens of thousands players on both factions. Are they all gone?
Nowadays all RP servers share warmode. So server populations aren’t that relevant.
That being said, with the advent of sharding and the destruction of the world defense channel organized wPvP is a bit worse off. My guild organizes several RPPvP events within the clan, however, its hard to find horde RPers to face in combat.
