P.S. Ping going to 1000 sometimes. Its happens everytime in BG, EBG and RBG. When i logout and login ping fine and everytime i enter PvP ping going at very hight lvl.

Hi mate

Does it happen once every so oftern for a couple of seconds, more like a stutter?

Nowdays its happens much rare, tbh, last 2 day 0 issues. When i wrote it - it was every evening more than a week. It was something huge spikes with delay abilites and everyone lagging, sometimes i can’t move, ping was something like 1000.

P.S. Actually you can close thread. Have no issues last few days.

i have the same problem with the exact same router.
this problem was already there some month ago where it took us forever to actually have you guys even look into the problem. it was the same router who was the problem back then.
ae1-br01-eqfr5.as57976.net <<<the problematic piece of s***
my isp is vodafone im from germany and on the german forum theres ppl complaining aswell. different locations differen isps.
as i said we had the same prob some month ago. it was fine for a while now its back to having highping and even worse loss. only in the evenings ofc (for me from like 19ish to like 23ish). it really fun to raid with a ping of 130-300 and a loss of around 20%. pls fix thx (lets see if you play the “its all ok on our side the problem must be on your side” card again).

To dispel a bit of a myth here: ae1-br01-eqfr5.as57976.net deliberately delays and throttles certain types of data packets, including type ICMP_ECHO (aka “ping”). Since this is the packet-type used for tests like Pathping and WinMTR the node will almost always look like it is slowing things down - but it in fact does not, the actual data traffic for our games passes through completely unhindered.

It should also be noted that server-side issues would not affect only specific individuals, or a certain percentage of players - they generally would affect every single player logging into the realm, and quite possibly even everyone on the entirety of european battle.net. What has been described here looks like it might be a routing- or congestion-type problem, especially since there appear to be times in the evening where the issue is more pronounced. More specifically: evening happens to be “prime time” for private internet usage in Europe, so this may be the result of some network node on the route being overly crowded and thus slowing down/dumping data packets. Our servers obviously don’t vary in performance or capacity over time (if they’re getting too full there will be a login queue - to avoid issues like that on our end), but sadly the same cannot be said of every individual node everywhere else in the european internet.

as i said the last time it was only a certain amount of ppl that were affected. and it took you weeks after lots of complaining from us ppl to even look into the issue. you always said what you always say: error is on your side everything runs fine cya.
so after enough ppl complained all of a sudden it was: oh yeah theres a prob. we gonna fix it now. and after like 2 days shizzle was ok. until like a month ago when the exact same stuff started again :-). so lets see how long it takes this time. but yeah the start is already set: not only some ppl would have problems but all. well… no :-]
