The past 4-5-6 days i have been having big latency problems ONLY in WoW in no other game im having any issues. Basically both my home/world ms is fine game is running smooth but sometimes as soon as i enter arena im experiencing huge lag 2-3 second delays when i use a spell and people teleport, as soon as i leave the arena everything is back to normal. I contacted my ISP they are saying everything seems to be working fine on their end. I contacted blizzard support they keep giving me troubleshooting artictes, they are not even acknowledging the issue. And im seeing more and more topics pop up with people experiencing similar problems. Can we at least get an answer from blizzard to what is happening or that they are aware of the issue and are working on fixing it? The situation is getting dire.

Smol indie company. And they wonder why their players flee to the private servers.
This start from May 1st,till now seven days in a row i cant play…one mont payment and 7 days not.playing because Blizzard just care to sell their sh!t and get money but nothink to fix. This problem comes from US servers and yet 7 dyas NOTHINK!
They don’t care about their players. And sooner or later the numbers will decrease by a lot.
I have the same problem here,no matter which server im playing in.I depleted so many keys because i have very huge world latency.On all other games my connection is fine.I hope blizzard will fix this…can’t be depleting my keys because of the latency.
I also wrote to Blizzard about this. They said and I quote

Yeah they don’t care. They’re like: I fail to see how that’s my(our) problem
Came to make sure more people dont feel alone in this one. Im in that world latency issue too guys. Destroyed so many keys and behind on vault progress on several characters. They need to understand there is a problem on their side asap. All I get is what feels as some automatic AI responses to my tickets that suggest things Ive tried before even opening the ticket. The last one was - "go check the tech forums". Yea thank you I havent thought of that. I think it`s time to cancel the sub.
I got exactly the same problem…the last 5-6 days my world latency is fine around 70ms when I m in open world but everytime that I enter a dungeon or raid my world latency goes up to 2-3k.
I tried to remove all addons and put graphics to low but it was still the same
I run a WinMRT test to 185.60.112.157 and based on that the problems seems to be:
Hop 7 (137.221.78.178): shows very high latency and 26% packet loss
Final hop (Blizzard server): shows 12% packet loss
Also I made a ticket to bliz and their answer was:
This sort of issues can sometimes be caused by corrupted or outdated addons and User Interface. In which case I’d recommend turning off your addons (and updating them) and doing a UI reset by using the steps in the following link:

Side note on that: I had already tested these “solutions” and still nothing and ofc I mentioned it on my ticket. I hope that we will get an answer at some point or they will do something.

Yeah they are not aware of any current problems with our servers at the moment and it’s pure luck that all the sundden a few of use have the same issue, at the same period and as i posted based on WinMRT test the ping/packet loss is on their sever

Same issue here, I attributed it to my Burning Legion realm solely cause I witnessed couple instances where I was dced simultaneously with another person from opposing team in same arena, but I could be wrong, issue could be more broad. Notably not everyone I play with experience similar issues but it is quite consistent recently and is seemingly getting only worse.

I can understand your situation and that you have contacted us again because of the MS issues. We have seen multiple post being made about this issue and are aware that it has been going on for a few days now. We do have to say though that as Game Master we are not able to give out much information when this will be fixed.
In this situation, I would kindly ask you be patient and keep your eyes open in the forum. You can also have a look from time to time in the post that you also found about this matter. The more people that are giving information to this issue, the faster our developers can work on it.
