I’m back to the game after somewhat of a break and I’ve decided to try out something new and fresh, so here I am - playing a Monk for the first time as it was something I was always looking to try, but always kept delaying it.
Anyway, I’ve started a Human Monk and noticed that one of the first lowbie quests in Northshire Abbey - the one given by Brother Paxton (Fear no evil) is not available to the Monk class (I’ve double checked on other classes and it seems to work just fine). I’ve searched the net for a bit and found out a couple of instances where people have mentioned the same issue on other forums for quite some time.
Luckily, it’s more of a side quest that rewards some starter boots and it does not impede the general trigger for the quests that follow, and not that it’s really important, but I was wondering if this is just a random bug that hasn’t been fixed or it’s has something to do with the Monk lore and the dedication of Monks to life/chi versus the pure devotion to the light needed to heal the wounded soldiers? Granted, the second one is a bit of a stretch given that the quest is available to all other classes, even the likes of Warlocks.
Any ideas or info about this?
