Human or Undead?

Should I start a Human or an Undead Death Knight? What would you prefer?

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, might be a good idea to stick with the Horde. Right now my pros/cons are:

UNDEAD:
Pros:

1. has a darker feeling playing DK as UD, it just feels right to use necro magic and raising the dead when you are a rotting corpse as well.
2. SL customisation options will even add to this feeling.
3. Horde

Cons:

1. I dont like how plate looks on Undead models
2. The class/race lore kind of silly.

HUMAN:

pros:

1. Arthas vibes. (long time LK fan here)
2. Everything looks good on a Human model

Cons:

1. Alliance
2. at the end of the day this is just a human, in a game where you can play a ton of other races…

What would you prefer?

For dps
Orc and maybe belf for horde.
Nelf or maybe human for alliance.

For Blood:
Vulpera/tauren
Dwarf for alliance.

Strictly racialswise proposal.

If you going for the looks, pick what looks better to you. Thats all.

you can try the ‘try character’ option? you get some decent looking gear and can test out the animations. A few youtube vids show a few new animations (2H obliterate) you can use to decide.

Same issue here, belf or UD. Might race change, or just start anew with the option of leveling in WOTLK again

Neither. Orcs are the only choice for true badasses. Plus they have a great racial for pvp.

I would say human, but sadly you can only play as a human on the alliance side so chose undead.

Plate armor looks fantastic on undeads! And I think that they have one of the best animations in WoW (spells, melee and also emotes). I agree that they lore is little silly and strange… but also unique and dramatic.

Humans seems boring race, but I like to play them becouse If I playing RPG, I love to feel myself in game. After all, I am human in reality ;D (sadly) And what more, human will recive one of the best new customisation options in prepatch.
