I always thought Undead or Troll is better. Undead so you can use the racial for Fear effects; Troll for the extra haste boost. My 2 cents.
He obviously wants to play Alliance.

I’d go void elf, human racial doesn’t even seem that good these days. 1.5min cd on a trinket? Barely seems any point for those extra 30 seconds. Especially not if you’re not high rating where people actually capitalise on things like that properly.

It’s down to preferences.
Void Elf seems to be slightly better, but there are aspects in which you’d be better off as Human instead of Void Elf.
The void-port is very decent, but usually not enough on its own, to me it just usually makes it smoother to get to gateway or rather to further help with creating distance, but it’s not anything too spectacular (it helps also with root-beam, but nothing to be considering while picking race).
The damage bonus is actually nothing spectacular either, it can proc at bad moments and it’s not much power gain anyway, last only few seconds.
Pushback is nowadays not much, but I do think it helps slightly, but that’s something more for Destro / Demo, I tend to play Affli and I don’t ‘feel’ this racial much.
Human relentless can be actually pretty decent in my opinion.
Imo DID > Void Elf > Human.
But Human is not much worse, maybe slightly, but it has its advantages. If you want to stay Human, there are enough reasons to stay Human.
I’ve yet to see a void elf use their racial in bg’s.
unless you got a pocket healer on you like in arena pvp and warlock are a bad mix in bfa there are just to many ways to lock us down and we got almost nothing to counter this.
