Humans should be able to join the Horde

With the Alliance and Horde barriers breaking down I should be able to create a human that joined the Horde.

The Human race is the most diverse and (so far) most customizable. Every single armor piece is created with Humans in mind and their lore is the most deep and interesting.

The only reason why Im not playing Horde is because the Human race is locked behind a faction barrier and the Horde doesnt have any race that I like story wise and on which most armors look good and race that I could personalize myself with.

I would like to experience the Horde side of things also but I cannot alas the race is Alliance only.

Therefore thats why we should be able to create Humans on the Horde side. I really hope we can get Blizzard to implement this in the future. I think it would make the game even better than DF will.

Thanks for reading!

I changed my forums character to my main Human Warrior. I dont know if it will change in the main post

Have you tried making a Blood elf with very short ears? we are humans but hotter :smirk:

also with dragonflight you will have the human female model (Dracthyr) on horde side

Thats a very good point with the Dracthyr

Even lore wise it would be hard. Horde lives on muds. They have different diet, different army training volume. Only few humans could live in the Horde, and it’s not worth for opening the barrier.
Also, at least some people play human for the PvP racial of stun. If Humans can join horde, it will further kill the faction balance.

not all of us. Pretty sure the Orcs live in a desert with canyons, not mud. thats shrek :stuck_out_tongue:

depends on the race. Blood elves eat fruits, chicken, and wine.

considering there are humans who are living in Uldum and Tanaris, i doubt it will be hard for them. but hard due to faction reasons and old conflicts, yes.

I am a stereotypical Alliance member, so for me, the Horde lives on muds. And you, blood elf, if you are so civic, why do you ally with barbarians? Join the alliance!

Ever heard of Suramar?

Both sides have varied architecture, it’s just a shame they like to be Horde = Orcs and Alliance = Humans for most representation.

No!
I would love to play a Human instead of a Belf on Horde. Dtgm, belves are pretty cool and there lore are AMAZING imo, but I just like the Human animations better and im one of those who plays “myself” in a roleplaying game, and im not an elf.

But I’ve played Horde since cataclysm = when I started. All my nostalgia and memories from the past 12 years are on Horde, it makes it really hard to change faction to play a Human. Also, the Horde main characters are also better imo. Anduin which I probably likes the most out of all, won’t even be present in DF, atleast it seems so.

I dont like the idea. Its too far from Warcraft roots, i mean Orcs in the Alliance? No it cannot be.

I suggest u play both factions instead with different characters!

I bet, that what you actually want are cross faction guilds
I’d also like to make alliance chars, and have them on the same server, and that’d require cross faction guilds, because most servers are monofaction

I do hope they work on cross faction guilds.

The only reason why Humans shouldn’t be allowed to join the Horde is their devotion to The Light. Their overtly Christian imagery is incompatible with The Horde’s paganism. Horde paladins are still warriors of the light, but they are still rooted in pagan mythology.

Humans are incompatible with the horde on a conceptual level. Humans, and the Alliance as a whole, but especially humans, stand for Order. The entirety of The Horde stands for Chaos. These are two forces that will forever be in conflict… so no, humans cannot join The Horde.

They really should change horde Paladins to get their power from the sun. Blood elf paladins are also kinda “sun” paladins, and the same goes for tauren…
