Is this bug intended to make hunters viable in pvp? I cannot think of any other reason besides this, multi billionire company cannot fix a simple bug for 3 months
if anyone doesn’t know this bug, when hunters feign death their nameplate bar disappears, make them impossible to see unless you use an external addon
Hunters are pretending to be dead. When a mob dies, their nameplate disappears as well. It’s literally called feign death.
It should come back once they cancel feign death though.
I am not talking about the usual feign death effect, when they revive back their nameplates are still unvisible in default nameplates, which is a bug
Check your addons, especially BigDebuffs. It causes all kinds of stupid UI bugs.
However not experienced that one yet. But it wouldn’t surprise me if it was just another one of the 5000 bugs the UI currently has after the revamp.
If it’s easily replicated, then definitely check one of your addons isn’t causing the issue.
I got rid of that addon since prepatch as it makes actionbars go crazy, idk why blizzard broke something that wasn’t broken in the first place, recoded the whole ui. I only use omnibar and sarena addons, nothing related to the nameplates. It’s so annoying. Thanks for advice tho
I would do a bug report in game, I did have a quick google but can’t find anything other than complaints about the issue from various sources.
Still an issue, everytime I fight a hunter… Bit beyond a joke.

The only explanation that it is still unchanged, is that the blizzard pvp balance team do not even play pvp. Everyone that plays arena knows this for months. This game is a freaking joke!
Can “mouseover” macros bypass that bug? It would be a bandaid fix to cast mouseover if no target is selected. Just an idea until blizzard fixes this.
There is only way to bypass this bug, by pressing alt + z (whichever you assigned toggle interface on or off) toggle ui on and off fixes it instantly until the next feign death.
Hunter have best defencive skill in game , blizzard still no have skill despite 30 years and billion dolars… last try now playing without nameplate if ı no cancer cuz of that

Its been a bug since beta
Minor compared to other things but still a very annoying bug. But remember the MC (mind control) bug in SL? Seems like this one might be in for a long run too
