hey fellow hunters! I’m wanting to pick this char back up and hopefully make it my main again as this was the first char I ever made.
can someone shed some light on the mythic plus side of hunters as that’s what i’d like to focus on?

You want 1x rapid reload, 3x Primal Instincts and 2x Dance of Death.

Conflict & strife minor (I still dont have R3 as I hate pvp, I use focusing iris instead)
Vision of perfection minor
Breath of the dying minor.
Other good corruptions would be Severe, Expedient, gushing wounds and masterful.

2x Primal and 3x Dance is better for just about everything.
Also rapid implies m+, but in that case gushing wounds isn’t great because it doesn’t scale with targets like our stat increase corruptions do.

For tyrannical I swap to 3dod 2pi.
Fortified I go 3pi 2dod.
Raid I’m 3 of each
Also Gushing can spread to multiple targets via multi shot.

3pi 2 dod is almost never worth it, even in fortified. Maybe some extremely AoE fest dungeon like a junkyard but outside of that it’s just inferior.
That’s not how RPPM works. Sure, you might proc gushing on different targets, but increasing the number of targets will not increase the number of procs that you get. You’ll get 5 gushing procs on 1 target, and still 5 procs on 10 targets.
So the damage does not increase with targets at all, unlike severe/exp/masterful.
