It looks like BM kill command is bugged in pvp.
The original damage is reduced by 15% and it also doesn’t scale with dual-trinket versatility bonus.
I find this very awkward since it’s the signature ability of BM hunters and as we speak nobody is using it in the rotation for this reason.
It was nerfed in pvp by 15% as a response to the pve buffs
Kill command should crit for 25k like killshot so it gets its signature back again
Well, there’s “Kill” in the name of the ability, so that makes sense.

For a signature ability with 7.5s CD it’s a shame really not be used in a normal rotation …
That 15% nerf should be disabled for when you don’t play 2 pets talent.

What’s delusional about saying the truth that Venthyr covenant spell for BM and Survival is overtuned when it is? The problem with Hunters is their disgusting legendary and that they deal more damage single target than Affliction with multidotting while it doesn’t have to stop ever. Hunter can have damage but it needs to cast something like MM to stop sometimes even if it cannot be kicked. It can have even Scatter + Trap on different DR like in MoP but this is pure cancer. You don’t have to be high rated to see that spec is poorly designed.
In fact it doesn’t seem that BM is getting nerfed but Venthyr covenant spell will have it’s initial damage buffed in 9.1.5. While it probably doesn’t matter much it’s still silly it’s happening.
Saying that BM/surv crits 25k is delusional or flat out lie. I didnt say anything about Venthyr not being broken in several ways.
Also put it like this: if those kill shots and flayed shots are so damn broken, why would you need to lie and add 5-8k damage on a crit? Highest crit might be a 18-19k on a rogue or so. Plate 12k. Nowhere in this game has a hunter crit 25k in the arena on anyone.
I mean I heard about 19 k crits not 25 k. I thought maybe he has some clips or screens so yeah. Imo BM is just badly designed unfortunately. And since Legion MM is also a gimp since it hits for too much but also has to stand in 1 place for too long.

I don’t screenshot all my arenas, but my hunter (250 ilvl) has definitely done in the range of 23k crits during the 20% versa proc from venthyr with trinket proc and uncoordinated assault up. it’s not 25k but I can definitely see that happening from a full geared hunter on cloth if you’ve got additional buffs from a party member like warrior or monk.
But like I said, it’s not common. Most are definitely under 20k.
