Both for PVP and PVE. I understand removing some utility, but Explosive should not have been removed at all. It added flavour and it added utility

True. Hunter actually needs more traps, but especially the knockback one. And more buttons to press overall. It used to be such a complex class. Now is just plain simple and boring.

Everything that gave the class some flavor/depth has been removed. They design this game around some negative iq idiots or for some upcoming console release. Otherwise there is no explanation for this bs.
Just look what we’ve lost:
Kill Shot
Explosive Trap
Explosive Shot
Scatter
Tar Trap root
Bursting Shot
Butchery
Fury of the Eagle
Mongoose
Coordinated Assault
How is this fun? Why take all the agency away from the players and turn the game into a whack-a-mole simulator? Does this company really think that playing this 4 button slop for 1 year will be fun? Make it make sense man.
These changes are a godsent for me though, I finally unsubbed and can focus on things that actually award me for putting in the time. Like playing the piano again after many years and spend more hours at the gym.

Agreed, the lack of implosive trap is annoying. Why have they so stripped us of utility when they haven’t done likewise for other classes (at least not to this extent)?

I feel helpless in m+. You have aoe Intimidation, which will barely have proper use due to DRs and if other people already stunned the mobs. At least with implosive you could aoe interrupt and was mostly unique (or at least more unique than throwing a stun)
All the utility Hunter lost was there to help us “stay alive”… We don’t have healing like every other class in the game has, so we have to make up for it with utility…
But the utility got removed…. soooo

All of that “damage reduction” defensives we have, doesn’t work on its own. 
it NEEDS to compliment another thing… Either utility or more self-healing…
Hunter has basically de-throned Warrior by becoming the new “needs a pocket healer” class in the game.
And in PvP it has become an EXTREMELY high skill based class… and it is now glass canon class where you won’t survive DoT based attacks from opponents… Either you kill the enemy FAST, or you die (without a pocket healer). And OH MY GOD does it require an INSTENSIVE fokus just to play half-decently now… 
I mained Hunter for so many years, and while I love the new damage rotations, I HATE the utility rework…. 
So now I am only playing my Hunter as a “side character” in order to get tmog from Delves, in hopes that one day Hunter will get fixed.
Hunter went from being “the solo class”, to now being the worst solo class in the game.

You know whats crazy they actually bring back Explosiveshot.. But its not how i thought it would be, you now lost your Volley Aimedshot Procc. Wich only did one Thing weaken the Specc 
it literally made 1 Procc change with another Procc.. Explosiveshot is a Spell that you can Immune, Volley you cant wich is a Nerf..What they should have done was leave the Volley Aimedshot Procc in and give us Explosiveshot Aimedshot Procc back.. Then the Rotation and the Specc would feel fine and Round and the Specc would pack a good Punch to get Meeles down since we lost all our Utility .. Now the Rotation is still clunky,slow and boring probably even worse cause when you Volley you stand there casting a Aimedshot it feels soooooo badddd xD.. The other Thing they said, they wanna give Steadyshot,Arcaneshot,Killshot a Buff so they pack a Punch .. They still do no Damage Steadyshot hits 10k Killshot 20k on a 500k Lifepool.. The Talents dont realy lineup aswell seems super mixed up..
