The Hunter pet ‘Duskcoat’ seems to have an issue with the ability ‘Prowl’. I am unable to cancel stealth from the pet unless I attack something. I should be able to toggle the stealth off and on, though it doesn’t seem to work. I have tried using it from the pet spell bar, from my own. Tried right and left clicking… I can not remove stealth from this pet.
Toggle off, then attack something, and won’t be back on.
Yeah but if I want to toggle it back on after this I then have to attack something AGAIN to remove it. So only attacking things will break stealth?
It’s been that way for years. So, yeah.
Dismissing the pet with Prowl turned off and then summoning it again will leave it unstealthed too.

Yeah it’s been broken that way since… I want to say perhaps even Cata? Been a while anyway, it’s all hunter pets with stealth who do that.
(I just cancel stealth forever on mines. They can hide in camouflage with me.)
