Hunter pet choice

Im hearing more positive changes lately, as in lifting restrictions / systems so maybe this will get looked into also someday.
I dislike not being able to pick a pet (skin) which i like best, or that special exotic pet, only to find out it isn’t specialisation X or does not have ability Y.

Why are hunter pets restricted to a specialisation?
Why can’t we choose abilities on our pets, where is the mastery on beast mastery exactly?

A quick way to start could be lifting the specialisation locking, like we could change the specialisation in Legion.
Or make it possible to change/transmog the appearance of your pet (skin).

I’m all for pet choices. It would be nice if they removed restrictions again.

Imo, pets should have there own talent tree, but less complex. Maybe 3 rows.
Give BM an extra row, and remove exotic pets as a thing, let us all share the fun. With BM pets obviously being better.

That’s the Nightborne starting pet. You can’t tame it anywhere.

just u know there is 4 different versions of manasabors and 3 of then u can tame

But not that one. The other 3 are Spirit beasts and this one is a normal cat type which is only available to Nightborne hunters.
