So I’m on my BM hunter but I’m roleplaying so don’t want my pet out however as soon as something hits me or a hit an ability my pet spawns! Is there a way to stop this so it only spawns when I hit call pet?

if i dismiss my pet it dont spawn

Never really had this issue either. Try summon and dismiss another pet or just let it die ^^
I did notice some weird moving-glitches with my cat, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this (the continues spawning) is some sort of bug.
if he uses a cat at stealth normally if you set it to passive it would still be in stealth even if you are under attack as long you dont order it to do so

Are you, perchance, using the hunter talent that allows you to have two copies of your pet out at the same time? (with the second one doing additional kill commands iirc). If you have that talent selected then your ‘ghost’ pet will keep appearing. Change your talents.

Checked his talents he doesnt but that was a good idea 
If you dismiss pet there is no way unless you attack or call it that it should respawn .
i have that talent. btw its not a copy but the first 1 at youre stable (maybe its a copy if you dont have any in there , never tried that)
as i said if i dismiss my pet and attack some none of both spawn untill i call them.
i even tried with kill command and that says , you dont have a pet .
it sounds very weard to me

the talent passive is broken, its a long time i ever tested that but as i remember as it was my pet did nothing untill ordered now it just attack as soon i shoot.
Thats not how it should be
so if he uses a stealth cat it “spawns”

Have the same on my hunter. Also when i try to tame a pet, my recently dismissed pet pops up and attacks my tame.
Not had this problem, could it be an addon doing the damage?

an addon or maybe a macro, i dont know but the probs goredrak has , i never seen them before (btw i dont use any addon /macro)
i did have however did a bug rapport on the passive stance from the pet and the one dismis pet follow up by mounted up/dismount the pet also reapears.
pets should only be there or attack something when i want them to , not when they want

i know i does , so make a bug report for it just like i did. its not like they gonna answer to us but when recieved moar off them they look at it.
It happens in the past so why not today
