Hi, I’ve noticed that the AP gains the pet get from various temporary AP procs aren’t working for me at all. Is this a known issue?
Reflection of Torment, Swordguard Embroidery and others that I’ve tested only add about 27% of the given AP to the pet, even with Wild Hunt 1/2 or 2/2. Also Berserking enchant gives you 400AP, but the pet gains no extra AP from your stack, almost as if the proc didn’t exist at all.
Was it like this back in the days or is this expected to be a bug?
The Swordguard is insane cloak enchant! 400 ap on 45sec internal CD and really reliable proc rate (first few hits). And procs off ranged! What’s not to like?
I dont have those procs but if you switch from say Cheetah to Dragonhawk and hover your mouse over ‘Power’ you should notice an increase in pet power. It isn’t 1 to 1 though.
With no aspect on my Hunter I have 3185 rAP which is 700 pet Attack Power & 409 pet Spell Damage.
With Dragonhawk I have 3575 rAP which is 786 pet Attack Power & 460 pet Spell Damage. (390 AP increase = 86 pet Attack power increase, or 22% increase)
With Orc Blood Fury racial added ontop of Dragonhawk I gain 322 extra AP which puts me at 3897 rAP which is 857 pet Attack Power & 501 pet Spell Damage.
so 322 AP from BF = 71 pet AP (22%) / 51 pet SD.
400AP increase should in theory give your pet an additional 88 AP if you do not have Wild Hunt talented on your pet. (I don’t for this experiment).
edit:
I switched pet to a pet with 2/2 Wild Hunt (aka 30% increase in pet gain from AP) and my pet has 786 Attack Power which is identical to my pet with no points in Wild Hunt.
So I can gather that either Wild Hunt does not give 30% Attack Power as it should, or it is a display bug in the character stat screen.
