Planning on trying for the Hunter PvP set this season. With the upcoming changes, just wanted to ask the mains about which spec is looking like the right one to try this challenge?
Not a good hunter by any chance however currently I roll as survival. The removal of double tap looks like it will hurt MM pretty badly and BM always feels like it doesn’t have the OOMPH that you need in arenas. Survival will require you to do some stupid ninja stuff however when push comes to shove you can pretty reliably deal some damage.

Yeah, saw the loss of DT, which I can understand is a shame. Going Survival won’t be too bad. Been there before so will just have to get used to things again.
Shame I decided to push when MM is getting crushed.
Personally i like sv in pvp. No hunter spec hits as hard as the meta specs on other classes but you can get some nice wins out of it.
One of the advantages is that people often ignore you cause you form little to no threat untill you got you kill shots going.

pvp ilvl 420 atm as BM hunter and i can say at the start of dragonflight it was the best spec but since every other classes getting buffed and buffed, bm cant keep up in arenas, its tough cuz we have literaly no burst, its just constant damage from bm so i also reroll to survival, nice burst with killshots atleast

yesterday i come back to game and boosted hunter xDD it was unlucky pick it seems. Can U suggest pvp spec for now to practice?
survival is fun, its a bit melee spec but if you have the tier 2 pieces its fun
