Mongoose bite. How does this spell work in tbc?
Also will weightstones work in tbc classic?
Can we craft epics from professions right away? Like leatherworking epic items and engineering head etc.?

Just to understand this correctly, you are suggesting using Adamntite weightstone in case the 14 crit rating applies to ranged attacks? That would be pretty cool ngl.

I’m almost positive that weightstones are for melee weapons only.
There’s a craftable epic set for TBC, requiring maxed Leatherworking plus the Dragonscale specialisation. It’s called the Ebon Netherscale set. It requires some insane number of mats to make, but, as memory serves, it outclasses most Khara-level drops, so it’s pretty good as a raid starting set. I had it on my own Hunter back in original TBC. Took around four weeks of solid, continous farming to get the mats.
(bear in mind link is from retail, and takes level squish into account. TBC level requirement is 70)
btw you are talking about wyvern sting. Thats the spell that puts the target to sleep. Not mongoose bite.

I think I had wyvern sting on the brain after watching that ex-developer video, and misread the post.
Leather/tailor gear yes, it came with the launch of tbc. Engi goggles came later, but we are playing on a later patch with gated content so can’t know for sure before beta (most likely will come later)
So there is the weightstone and the sharpeningstone in Tbc, but only the weightstone will give you crit as a hunter, but both will give you range weapon damage, that’s why fist weapons are superior for hunter in TBC, for like kara pre bis if available will be S1OH + AC(heroic) fistweapon, you will keep them till Alar fist weapons!
